Christina Loker Obituary

Christina Amber (Amos) Loker, 38, of Elkton, VA passed away Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg. She was born January 26, 1987 in Lewisburg, West Virginia and was the daughter of Ronnie Amos and Tommi Kay Amos. Christina was preceded in death by her brother, Leslie "Les" Amos and grandmother, Nedra "Memaw" Wykle. Christina attended Shenandoah Pentecostal Holiness Church until her health wouldn't let her. She played basketball throughout elementary and high school. Christina loved music and was a crime junkie fan. She loved sports; she was a "team" mom and loved watching her children play ball. Christina loved her husband and children more than anything. She cared about others more than herself and there will never be anyone able to fill her shoes. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Jacob "J.J." Loker; sons, Kenneth "Ace" Long, Kenly "Jake" Long, Banks Loker; daughter, Layla Loker; step-mother, Rosemary Amos; brothers, Chris Amos and Brian Amos; sisters, Crystal Amos and April Amos; father and mother-in-law, David and Beth Loker; sisters-in-law, Casey Loker, Donna Amos, Catrina Ray and Mallory Amos; brother-in-law, Kevin Loker and wife, Sara; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Zach Loker, Cannon and Laken Amos, Jordan Amos and wife, Jasmine, Brooke Sturgill and husband, Cole as well as nine step-siblings. A Funeral Service will be conducted 2 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025 at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Pastor Jimmy Kite and the Rev. Dan Bassett officiating. Burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in McGaheysville. Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025 prior to the service.
