Debra Hope "Ding Ding" (Hale) Becknell Battleboro - Debra Hope Becknell "Ding Ding", lovingly known by family and friends as Debbie, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on February 22, 1954, to the late Hattie and Cecil Hale. Debbie was a devoted wife, mother, "Ding Ding", sister, and friend. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Becknell; her son, Wesley Powell (Tiffany); and daughter, Dawn Doss (Corey). She was a proud and loving grandmother to Devin Powell, Tyler Doss, Bailey Powell, Tank Doss, and Avery Powell, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her brothers, Donald Hale (Gail) and Gerald Hale, brother-in-law David Dennis, sister-in-law Janice Hale, long time best friend "Sissy" Carolyn Alston. She was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Sue Dennis, and brother, Aubrey Hale, sister-in-law Mollie Hale. Debbie's warmth, compassion, and love for her family were the heart of her home. She will be remembered for her strength, her kind spirit, and the deep care she had for those around her. Her memory will be carried on by all who loved her, and her legacy will continue to live through the family she cherished so deeply.
