William Bailey Obituary

William Ray "Willie" Bailey William Ray "Willie" Bailey, 70 of Lott, died Friday July 25, 2025 in a Waco Nursing Home. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott.

Mr. Bailey was born in Marlin on March 22, 1955 to Raymond and Ruby Radford Bailey. He graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 1973 and played on the tennis team. He retired from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Temple. He was a fan of the Baylor Bears and the Dallas Cowboys and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lott.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Marvin Bailey.

He is survived by one sister, Eugenia Hoelscher and husband Ralph of Lott.

Memorials may be made to Clover Hill Cemetery, P.O. Bo 326. Lott, TX 76656

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
