Irmgard Morgan Obituary

Irmgard "Eti" K. Morgan, affectionately known as "Granny", 85, of China Grove, peacefully passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Best of Care Assisted Living in Kannapolis, NC.

She was born December 4, 1939 in Offenbach, Germany to the late William and Margaret Krafft. She was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church after moving from the Asheville area in 2018. She enjoyed world traveling, camping, and spending time with her Grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping reading and crocheting.

In addition to her parents, Irmgard was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband, Billy Ray Morgan.

Irmgard is survived by daughter, Jutta Morgan Beaver (Tim); son, Michael Morgan (Elaine); grandchildren, Matthew (Misty), Katheryn (Nathan), Marissa (Rory), Haley (Levi) and Deavin; great-grandchildren, Ethan, Carson, Lincoln, Avarie, Casen, Branson, Christian, Brayden, Landon, Raelynn and Owen.

There will be a memorial service held on June 24, 2025 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 185 Concordia Church Rd, China Grove, NC 28023, beginning at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Concordia Lutheran Church Building Fund.
