Michael Marty Obituary
1945 - 2025
Michael Marty was born to Shirley Napier and Harold Ray in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1943. Growing up on the west side he attended West High School and served his mission in Chicago. He then attended the University of Utah where he became the first person in his family to receive a bachelor's degree. A natural entrepreneur, he started and ran several businesses, including a janitorial firm as well as a convention hall setup company. He would later open S. Thompson and Associates an advertising agency that was the first fully "in house" agency in Salt Lake City. Then in 1986 he met the love of his life Peggy and they would go on together to form Silver Creek ranch, which would go on to produce 13 world champions.
Sadly, Peggy passed in 2022.
He is survived by his sister, Jean Hood; brother, Ron Marty; his Children: David Marty, Adam Bond, M'lissa Titus, Kresta Richardson, and Tyler Richardson; grandchildren: Joshua Marty, Jesse Marty, Kaedyn Marty, Hailey Averrett and Cody Richardson.
Mike was an avid animal lover so in lieu of flowers please donate to Nuzzles and Co, Best Friends or The Utah Humane Society.

Sending love, admiration and light for the the Man of Mike Marty. The memories have flooded in when I saw Mike's passing. From Douglas St. To Park City on the ranch riding Hulk listening to Love and Rockets, So Alive. Mike was a true hero and never let you feel like crap. Mike has inspired many young people to become successful in their lives. I wish I could have spent just one more moment with Mike. To the Marty Clan, I wish you all the very best of love and light for the loss of Mike, he was an inspiration.
