Reuben Munoz, 68, of Oceano passed away on June 22nd 2025.
Reuben was born to parents Antonio and Mary Munoz and raised in San Luis Obispo County. He attended Grover City Elementary and Frances Judkins Middle School. He was a graduate of the Arroyo Grande High School. After high school he went to the US Army. After his Army service, he was a carpenter and a welder, working for many years at a company called Vetter in San Luis Obispo.
He is survived by his siblings: Anthony Munoz (Pat Munoz), Adrian Munoz, Debra Munoz, & Kristen Ybarra all of San Luis Obispo County.
He also left behind children: Gean Rosario, Andrew Marroquin, Kerri Lopez, Ashley Cannon and Yolanda Morado.
Reuben was joined in heaven by his grandma Tilley Alvarez Morales, Leonard Smiley Munoz, Elsa Munoz, Edward Munoz, and Little Reuben Munoz.
Reuben's hobbies were hanging out with his favorite cousins barbecuing and cruising on the beach. Reuben loved playing handball. He also enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards & reading the Bible. He loved reading books in general. Reuben left behind many cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and many friends. He was so kind and loving. He had a heart of gold. He loved his mom very much. She was his favorite girl.
The family is accepting flowers and any donations to the funeral home. Services will be held on July 11th 2025. Viewing will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral services at 11:00 and interment at the Arroyo Grande Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
A reception will follow at the Grover Heights Park.
