Justin Ullrich Obituary

Justin Albert Ullrich
Born: December 29, 1987
Died: July 10, 2025
Justin Albert Ullrich, 37, of Amboy, Illinois, passed away at home on July 10, 2025. He was born on December 29, 1987, in Sterling, Illinois, to Harold and Carla Ullrich, who both preceded him in death.
A talented fabricator welder at Z-Best Metals in Amboy, Justin was known for his dedication and exceptional skill in his craft. Beyond his professional life, he had a true zest for life. One of his great joys was helping to set off fireworks with Flashing Thunder, a passion that showed his love for celebration. Additionally, his deep appreciation for music was a constant source of happiness, reflecting his vibrant spirit.
He is survived by his stepmother, Peggy Ullrich, who resides in Amboy. Justin was a devoted brother to James (Cassie) Ullrich of Rock Falls, Jamie Jo Ullrich (Josh Parrott) of Prophetstown, Travis (Chelsey) Ullrich of Amboy, and Trever Ullrich of Amboy. He was also a beloved uncle, and his nieces and nephews were the center of his universe. Justin cherished every moment spent with them at family gatherings, creating memories filled with laughter and love. His cherished nieces and nephews included Katyn, Karlie, Madison, Chase, JoJo, Madisyn, Tucker, Kylee, Natalie, Karson, Mason, Jaxson, Emery, Jett, Traeden, Waylon, LT, Kashton, and Hayze. Also, Mamaw Becky of Rock Falls. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.
His two dogs, Whiskey and Rose, held a special place in his heart, treated with the same love and affection he shared with his family. Justin possessed an infectious spirit and a larger-than-life personality. He was the life of the party, always ready to lend a helping hand, offer honest advice, and share his radiant smile, even on the toughest days.
Justin's caring nature and ability to lift others' spirits left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. A celebration of his life will be held to honor Justin's memory and the joy he brought into the world on August 30th at Peg's house.
