Died: June 25, 2025 in Mineral Point, WI
Teri E. Sprinkel, 65, of Mineral Point, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025. A private family burial will be held at Natural Path Sanctuary Cemetery. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wisconsin, is assisting the family.
Teri was born on November 11, 1959, in Dixon, Illinois, the daughter of Cecil and Betty (Curtis) Dawson. She graduated from Newman Catholic High School and earned an associate's degree in business administration from Midstate College in Peoria, Illinois.
Teri was a published poet and enjoyed writing. She was also a lover of nature and animals. She lived most of her life in the Northwoods of Eagle River and Phelps, Wisconsin. Teri's greatest joy was being a mother to Cory and she loved spending time with all her nieces and nephews. Teri was a devoted friend and always opened her heart to those in need, offering assistance without question. She was a wonderful cook and enjoyed a great phone conversation.
Teri is survived by her son, Cory Sprinkel, Madison, WI; three siblings, John (Michelle Young) Dawson, Fort Atkinson, WI, Janis "Jan" (Fred) Leonard, Crystal Falls, MI, and Traci (Rooster) Wallenhorst, Cuba City, WI; her ex-husband, Greg Sprinkel, Cobb, WI; and a sister-in-law, Debra Dawson, Sterling, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Jan Dawson, in infancy; and a nephew, Cory Dawson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Teri's name may be sent to the funeral home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807.
