James Shaver Obituary

James "Jim" R. Shaver, age 64, of Willard, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Toledo Hospital.
He was born on June 17, 1961 in Amherst, Ohio to the late Eddie Shaver and Donna (Shays) Hall.
Jim was a 1979 graduate of Plymouth High School and was a dedicated employee for over 44 years at Lakeside Book (formerly RR Donnelley) in Willard as a casemaker. He enjoyed watching sports, especially The OSU Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns, playing golf, and working in his landscape growing beautiful roses. He loved music and most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and all his family.
He is survived by his 3 daughters, Danielle Niedermier, Jessica (Stephen) Cozart, and Lindsay Shaver; 1 son, Tyler Wagers; grandchildren, Tessa, Anysa, Niya, Skylar, Taylor, and Carter; and siblings, Lynn Oney, Stewart (Judy) Hall, Steve (Regenia) Shaver, Barb Faylor, and Terry Shaver.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna (Orville) Hall; father, Eddie (Stella) Shaver; sister, Susie Barnett; and son-in-law, Christopher Niedermier.
Visitation will be at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, Ohio on Friday, August 1, 2025 from 4 PM – 7 PM and on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 11 until the time of his Celebration of Life at 1 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave, Norwalk, OH 44857.
