GRAND RAPIDS -- Floyd F. Feather, 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on February 11, 1939, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Fred C. and Mable (Sylvester) Feather.

During the 61 years Floyd and Sylvia were married, they had three children: Christopher (Melanie) Feather, of Grand Rapids, Jeannie Feather, of Grand Rapids, and Timothy (Susan) Feather, of Dallas, Wisconsin. They were blessed by nine grandchildren: Ben (Sondra), Zane (Kaelyn), Allison, Kaitlyn, Brett, Josh (Staci), Travis (Ashley), Greg (Kayla), and Jose (Selena); and several great-grandchildren.
Floyd is survived by his children; a brother, Leroy "Butch" (Marilyn) Feather, of Painseville, Ohio; and sisters-in-law: Rita Feather, of Liberty Center, Ohio, Kathleen Harmon, of Wauseon, Ohio, and Ann Schrader, Ludington, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Sylvia, and brothers: Glen Feather and Wayne Feather.
