BOWLING GREEN -- Mary Ann Clements passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on June 29, 2025 at the age of 86 after battling Parkinson's Disease. She was the eldest born to Clarence and Beatrice (Schieder) Rossow on August 22, 1938 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was a 1956 graduate of Liberty High School, Rudolph, Ohio. She then graduated in 1960 from Mercy School of Nursing in Toledo. She married Thomas Clements at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Deshler on November 26, 1960.
Mary worked as an RN in a Bowling Green Physician Office and then at Wood County Hospital, where she retired after 40 years of nursing. She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Bowling Green, Ohio Nurses Association Wood County Chapter, served on the Ohio Board of Nursing, was a Girl Scout Troop Leader and served on the Custar Village Council.
Since her retirement, she really enjoyed watching her grandchildren play various sports and participate in other activities. Mary looked forward to Fish Frys with her Baby Brother and Sister-in-Law, new dining experiences, and Gaither Gospel Music. She loved the Christmas Season. In the Spring, she looked forward to gardening and watching the flowers bloom. Mary was an avid reader and word search connoisseur.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Tom, sister Linda Gallier, and Son in Law Matt Slane. She is survived by daughters Becky Slane of Bowling Green, Katie (Geoff) Wyatt of Pensacola FL, and Sara (Jamie) Webb of Bowling Green, grandchildren Jacob Wyatt, Ethan Slane, Hallie Webb, Adam Slane, and James Thomas Webb, brother Jim (Cindy) Rossow, several nieces, nephews, cousins, multiple grand dogs, and great grand cats.
Her family would like to express their profound gratitude and heartfelt thanks to all the Angels at Bridge Hospice that helped care for her.
Mary's funeral service will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historic District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. Interment will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th at the funeral home from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
