Christopher "Kelly" Moreland, 56 of San Leandro, Calif., passed away, May 31, while at home.
Kelly was born in 1969 in Washington D.C. The son of Roger Moreland and the late Patricia Sperlazza. He was an avid reader, who could finish off a book on a casual afternoon. He also explored whatever life put in front of him, creating friends out of anyone willing to lend him an ear. With an easygoing attitude and a zest for life, he enjoyed looking for new discoveries. He was loved by many and will be missed by all!
Surviving are his Father, Roger Moreland of Edgewater, Md.; Brother and niece, Eric "Danny" and Erin Moreland of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Nephew Brent Moreland of Boston, Va.; Aunt and Uncle, Barbara and Ed Lockwood of Gore, Va.; Cousins Lisa Reynolds and Amy Lockwood.
At this time, no services are planned, however a Celebration of Life will be held later.

I am very sad to hear of this. He was a wonderfully kind and smart and funny guy. He played Grover Cleveland in a short film I made and he was a total hoot to work with. Man, I'm gonna miss him.
