Derwin Tucker Obituary

MOULTRIE, GA – Derwin Willis Tucker, 57, of Moultrie, passed away Thursday, May 29, 2025, at his home.

Funeral services are 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 2, 2025, at Cobb Funeral Chapel. Reverend Stanley Norman will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 A.M., Monday, at Cobb Funeral Chapel.

Born July 21, 1967, in Moultrie, Georgia, he was the son of J.B. Tucker and Loretta Almand Tucker of Moultrie. Willis was a dedicated truck driver and a hardworking local farmer who found joy tending to his land and caring for his cattle. In his moments of relaxation, Willis enjoyed saltwater fishing, finding peace and contentment by the water. He was a kind and compassionate man, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Willis was member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, and his faith was a cornerstone of his life, and Willis’ legacy of hard work, kindness, and faith continues to inspire all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Loretta and J.B. Tucker, survivors include his son Blake Tucker and significant other Taylor Carey; grandchildren, Emberlyn Tucker, Ellanora Tucker; brother, John Tucker; nephew, Christopher Tucker; several other extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pine Grove Baptist Church.

Cobb Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements.
