Daniel Allen Orsburn, 63

Daniel Allen Orsburn, 63, of Pinehurst, ID, beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away on December 10, 2024 at Mountain Valley of Cascadia Health and Rehabilitation, Kellogg, ID. Daniel was born on December 29, 1960 in Wallace, ID, a son of Donald and Kathleen (Bailey) Orsburn.

Daniel attended Kellogg High School and later obtained his GED. As a young man, Daniel he spent a large part of his time working as a sawyer, a CNA, and as a roofer. He loved listening to rock music. Daniel enjoyed spending time outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hiking. One of his favorite places was George Lake in the Bob Marshall Wilderness of Montana. In his later years, he liked to play cards and dices games with his family and watching the Seattle Seahawks.

Daniel is preceded in death by his father, Donald Osburn.

Survivors include his mother, Kathleen Orsburn of Pinehurst, ID; four siblings, Deanna (Rex) Heyer of Priest River, ID, Donny (Char) Orsburn of Grand Junction, CO, George (Brandy) Orsburn of Florence, MT, and Susan Orsburn of Post Falls, ID. Daniel is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.

Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, 1:00 PM at Shoshone Funeral Services Chapel, 106 S. Main St., Kellogg, ID.
