Norm,
I wanted to take a moment to share some cherished memories from our time at Almaden (Twin Creeks). I often think back to my younger days, especially those joyful moments spent walking up to Kate and John Zugers' cabin. Knowing that you had those two mini bikes at the cabin right there made my visits so much more special. I can't express enough how grateful I am that you let me ride one; it truly brought me so much joy that day.
I still vividly recall the next morning. It was early, around 6:30 AM, and in my excitement, I hopped on one of your mini bikes. I pulled the recoil starter, and to my delight, it roared to life! Imagine my surprise when Helen opened the cabin door and told me to shut it down. I realized I was in trouble then. That day has stayed with me all these years, and I look back on it with a smile. Thank you for those wonderful memories. God bless you.
With warm regards,
John Marron
