To My Extended Laville Family:

I have always considered myself the 5th son and feel it such a privilege to have known and have been partially raised by "Mr. Jim". I have so many fond memories (too many to summarize) and have always had the utmost respect for him.....and so wish I could have been there this weekend to help celebrate a great man and life. He will always be a role model for me in life and I will miss him beyond explanation. Love and prayers to all!!!

Mrs. Laville, Joey, and family: Please accept my sympathies for your great loss. Dr. Jim Laville was a good friend and a faithful Catholic Christian man who loved his God, family, and life. It was a joy to engage in conversation with Jim over coffee and doughnuts at St. Joseph Cathedral through the years. May the Lord welcome Jim to eternal happiness and peace. Blessings to all.
