James D. Reynolds, age 86, of Webster, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Jim was born on August 18, 1938, in Aurora, Illinois, to Harold and Mona (Weaver) Reynolds. He dedicated 30 years of his career to working as a railroad engineer. Jim was also a proud and active member of the Scott Fire Department for many years and served as a Wisconsin State Fire Inspector, contributing greatly to the safety of his community.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Carol, of Webster, WI; his sister, Sally Minehart of Corpus Christi, TX; his brother, Harry Reynolds of Lake Havasu, AZ; and his children: Jamie (Curt) Fawcett of Eau Claire, WI; Jeff Christianson of Griffin, GA; Jim (Kathy) Reynolds of Winter Haven, FL; Karen Ball of Winter Haven, FL; Kelly (Chris) Sherburne of White Springs, FL; Mary (Barry) Danielsen of Spooner, WI; and Terri (Jamie) Olge of Hiawassee, GA. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Rebecca Reynolds of Ballground, GA. He is survived by his many grandchildren, including Alexa, Betsy, Abby, Mark, Laura, Donovan, Shea, Hayley, Natalee, Brian, Jason, Heather, Jenna, Cortney, Kelsey, Danielle, Zach and Ryan, along with great-grandchildren Madison, Peyton, Matthew, AJ, Maverick, Gage, Keeghan, Ashley, Maddy, Marsali, Sienna, Devin, Kara, Beau, Rye, Ael, Ayla, Alex, Colt, Wyatt and Jerry.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Mona Reynolds; wife, Blanch; son David; daughter-in-law Kathie and great-granddaughter Emersyn.
He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
