Lauren McGlynn Obituary

It is with deep sadness that the family of Lauren McGlynn, age 69, announce her passing on June 26, 2025, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Lauren was born on February 22, 1956 to Stephen Thomas McGlynn and Doris May Morosini McGlynn of Elizabeth, New Jersey.
Lauren attended St. Genevieve's Church in Elizabeth, graduated magna cum laude in 1988 from Kean College, Union, NJ with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science, and went on to earn her law degree from Rutgers University, Newark, NJ in 1991. Lauren was a sales associate with Weichert Realtors where she was a member of the Weichert Million Dollar Club. Lauren was the recipient of multiple scholarships and certificates of achievement and recognition and she volunteered her time serving as the Chair for the Roselle Park Environmental Commission in 1993.
Lauren relocated to North Carolina in 1995, settling in Hillsborough and Snow Camp. She loved North Carolina for its beauty and friendliness and was very happy to call it home for thirty years where she bred her beloved AKC Lhasa Apso pups, made deep and lasting friendships, enjoyed reading, listening to music, exploring art and tending to her gardens and the many birds who visited her feeders. From the moment she was born, she was a beautiful and free spirited individual, a truth seeker bursting with Irish wit, a nature lover blessed with a desire to help others.
She is predeceased by her parents and two siblings Stephen Thomas McGlynn Jr. and Denise Anne Scoppa. Lauren is survived by her sister, Michele Joan LoManto of Roselle Park, NJ and three nephews, Craig Stephen Scoppa, Noel Stephen Baron and Michael Anthony LoManto Jr.
