Click here for live feed Tamara Sue Lyda, born in Yreka, California, on August 6, 1959, passed away in Modesto, California, on March 8, 2025. She was a resident of Manteca for four years. Tamara was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred Ellison and Harold Maples, as well as her siblings, Deborah Ryan and Cindy Francis. She is survived by her children, Chris and Richard, along with several grandchildren. Tamara shared a close bond with her siblings Sherry Tosado (Harry) and Rick Maples (Lisa), as well as her aunts and uncles, Linda Mullen, Linda Maples, and Don Maples. Tamara enjoyed the companionship of her dog, Sheldon. She had a passion for camping, fishing, and spending time in the great outdoors. An avid collector, she gathered rocks that resembled hearts and had a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. As a talented artist, Tamara expressed her creativity through painting. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, and had love for sunflowers, wildflowers, and pinecones. Known for her bubbly personality and great sense of humor, she brought joy to those around her.
