Today, we gather to honor the life of a man whose heart was as vast as the world and whose kindness touched everyone he met. My father, [Octaviano], was truly one of a kind. He was a man who found joy in giving, not just of material things, but of himself-his time, his wisdom, and his boundless optimism. He believed in lifting others, in bringing light to those who felt lost in the dark, and in spreading happiness wherever he went. His advice was a compass for so many of us, helping us navigate life's challenges with hope and determination. Even in the hardest times, he remained positive and full of serenity. He had a way of reminding us that no matter how tough life could get, there was always something to smile about, always a reason to keep going. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his family: his four sons, Manuel, Ludwig, Milton, and Leonardo; his daughters-in-law Lucy, Elda, Aura and Sandra; and his beloved grandchildren Giovanna, Cesar, Mariana, Milton, Alejandra, Vanessa, Carlos, Kristian, Kalani, and Deandre. He is leaving behind his two sisters Lola and Nora. Each of us carries a piece of his incredible spirit, and we are all better people for having had him in our lives. Today, we grieve, but we also celebrate the remarkable person he was. My father's kindness, generosity, and unwavering optimism have left a permanent imprint on our hearts. Though he is no longer with us, his light will continue to shine in our memories and in the values he instilled in all of us. Rest in peace, Dad. You will be missed more than words can say, but your love and your lessons will live on in our hearts forever.
