Arlene was born on July 24, 1941, the daughter of Gilbert and Gertrude (Willemsen) Miller. She grew up with a strong sense of family and a deep appreciation for nature and home. Her happiest memories were made at Miller's Lake, where she spent countless hours during her youth with family and friends. The lake remained close to her heart throughout her life.
After graduating from high school, Arlene attended the Minneapolis School of Business. She went on to work as a secretary for several companies over the years, including IDS and Control Data.
She found great joy in gardening and took pride in the beauty she cultivated in her surroundings. She also enjoyed the quiet focus and satisfaction of completing jigsaw puzzles.
Arlene was a longtime member of Zoar United Church of Christ, where she found purpose and connection through volunteering. Her quiet, dependable service reflected the values she lived by.
One of Arlene's most treasured traditions was hosting family and friends on Christmas Eve each year. Her home was filled with warmth, laughter, and the eager excitement of grandchildren awaiting Santa's visit. These gatherings were a reflection of her deep love for family.
Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Gilbert and Gertrude Miller; an infant brother; sister Judy Miller; and brothers Claire Miller and Gene Miller.
She is survived by her loving family: husband Laurel Roise; son Mike Roise of Rosemount; daughter Stacy (Toby) Worm of Cologne; grandchildren Thomas Jensen, Aiden Jensen, and Callen Worm; brother John (Dorothy) Miller; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Betty Miller of Cologne, Karen and David Lystrom of Evergreen, CO; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
