Rodney Lee Allen

August 30, 1953 - March 2, 2025

Petal, Mississippi - Services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Leeville Baptist Church for Mr. Rodney Lee Allen, 71, of Petal, MS. Rodney peacefully passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Internment will be in Leeville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Rodney lived in Long Beach, MS until moving to Petal, MS in the early 80's. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and could often be found fishing in the Gulf, hunting at the deer camp, or enjoying time with family and friends. He eagerly shared his smile which was genuine and contagious. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Leeville Baptist Church in Petal. He was retired from Nordan-Smith Welding and Industrial Supplies.

He was preceded in death by his grand-daughter Bridget Elice Allen and his parents, Dorothy and Henry Allen.

He is survived by his wife, Debra Allen of Petal; two sons, Ryan Allen of Navarre, FL and Aaron Allen of Petal, MS; one grandson, Kody Freeman of Petal, MS, four brothers, Wayne Allen (Kathy) of Pass Christian, Denny Allen (Phyllis) of Long Beach, Jimmy Allen (Shannon) of Long Beach, and David Allen (Yvette) of Long Beach, as well as a great-grandson Dawson Frymark of Crestview, FL. He is also survived by a host of family and many dear friends that he considered family.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 6, 2025, at Leeville Baptist Church.
