Ann Perez Obituary

Ann Perez, 73, of Lake Worth, FL, passed away on September 15, 2025, from an aortic aneurysm.

Ann was born in Cherokee, Iowa, to Virginia Conner and Eugene Whittenburg. She dedicated her life to caring for others, working as a registered nurse and medical case worker. Even at 73, Ann was still actively serving patients and looking forward to her well-earned retirement.

She married the love of her life, Joe Perez, in 2005, and together they built a life full of family and love. They lived for many years in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, before settling into Ann's "happy place" near the beach in Southern Florida.

Ann is survived by her devoted husband, Joe, her children, April Rohrbaugh, Adam Rohrbaugh (Stacie), Ryan Rohrbaugh (Tammy), Amy Rogers (Brandon), Jill Brown (Dale), and Michael Perez, 16 beloved grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, her mother, Virginia Whittenburg, brother Daniel (Keri), and several nieces and nephews. She cherished every moment spent cheering at her grandchildren's activities, holidays surrounded by family, and quiet mornings at the beach.

Known for her big heart and even bigger holiday decorations, Ann brought joy to her neighborhood with over-the-top displays that became a tradition everyone looked forward to. Her love of the ocean was unmatched. While living in Iowa, she eagerly awaited her annual trips to Saint-Martin, and after moving to Florida, nothing made her happier than starting her day by the waves.

Ann will be remembered for her compassion, warmth, and the love she poured into her family and friends. Her legacy will live on in the many lives she touched, both personally and professionally.

The family will be holding a Celebration of Life in Lake Worth, FL, at All County Funeral Home and Crematory on a date to be determined.
