Richard Jeannot Obituary

Richard W. Jeannot, affectionately known as "Dick," passed away peacefully on August 1, 2025, in Melbourne, Florida, at the age of 79, following complications from Alzheimer's disease.
Born on April 19, 1946, in Muskegon, Michigan, Dick entered the U.S. Air Force after graduating high school and proudly served for five years. His professional life was marked by a successful career in sales, which afforded him the opportunity to travel extensively. He retired in 2006 from GE Aviation/Johnson Technology in Muskegon.
Following retirement, Dick relocated to Melbourne, Florida, with his wife, Maribeth.
He is survived by his wife Maribeth; son Eric (Lisa) Jeannot of San Angelo, Texas; daughter Ellie (Jason) Straber of Indianapolis, Indiana; stepdaughter Leyann (Jim) Schroeder of Saginaw, Michigan; and stepson Chad (Amy) Haubrich of Muskegon, Michigan. He also leaves behind grandchildren Andrea, Collin, Riley, Ethan, Charles, Cole, Maxwell, and Cooper; sister Targa Miller; and brother Bill (Lori) Jeannot.
Dick was preceded in death by his father William Jeannot; mother Margaret Jeannot (Johnson); and brother Thomas Jeannot.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Muskegon, Michigan.
In honor of Dick's memory, charitable donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
