Helena Dixon Obituary

Jackson, SC - Helena Brewer Dixon, 70, entered into rest on Saturday, April 26, 2025, loving wife of the late John M. Dixon.

Helena was born in Sumter, SC on February 19, 1955 to the late Bobby and Rebecca Brewer. She retired from the Social Security Administration. A loyal Georgia Bulldog football fan, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who knew her affectionately as Nana.

Family members include her daughter: Aubrey Morris and husband Robert; grandchildren: Joshua Morris, Madison Morris, Dawson Morris, and Reese Morris; sister: Debbie Beard and husband Randy, and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband: Richard "Ricky" K Morris, Jr.; son: Richard "Ricky" K. Morris, III; and siblings: Bobby Brewer, Jr., Alicia Golding, and Mickey Burg.

A memorial service will be held Friday, May 2, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Kevin Jones officiating.
