William Watson Obituary

Paulette. and family, Sandra and I send our sincere condolences as we just heard that Willie has passed away. Growing up in Wetumpka long ago he and I spent many afternoons together with Sonny Wingett walking the SNG pipeline and exploring all the hills around Wetumpka. He was a good friend and classmate that I have missed the past few years. Please know that all of you are in our thoughts and prayers. Willie was a good man! Joe and Sandra McInnes

Paulette, I just found out today that Willie had died. Willie and I were graduated together from high school. He was such a sweet friend and classmate.

My prayers for Willie´s family. He was a dear member of our Wetumpka High School Class of 1961.

Mr Watson taught the first class I ever took in accounting at Brunswick Junior College. I enjoyed his class and pragmatic teaching approach. He had a quick wit that kept the subject interesting. My deepest sympathy to his family for their loss.

I met Willie through work and his wonderful wife, Paulette. I was proud to call Willie a friend and enjoyed sharing a drink with him from time to time. I will always remember his wry wit and sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with Paulette and his family.

He was one of the first people I worked with at FLETC in 1985 . He was always full of good humor and a master at role playing , I learned a lot from him . He will be missed..

Willie was a true gentleman and someone I consider a dear friend. Willie taught me at "BJC" many years ago. In more recent years I had the privilege of working with him at FLETC. I always enjoyed his company and his stories. His passing is a terrible loss, not only for his family, but for the entire community. Prayers for Paulette and all of his family. He will be missed.

I role played with Willie for many years.
He was always a ray of sunshine and quick with a joke! He will missed and remembered fondly.

Willie and I were friends for twenty years. We role played at FLETC and played tennis for many years at Epworth and
Retreat. We had many fun times through the years.

Willie was absolutely deadly as a tennis player at the net! Nothing got by him! He will be sorely missed by us tennis players.

For 25 years on Saturday if Paulette and Willie were in town, they were in Cafe Frederica for a late breakfast or lunch. I watched Sheri grow to be a beautiful girl who her father adored.
He was our #1 Auburn fan and loved most sports.
I´ll miss your smile and great personality. And feel blessed to know you and my deepest sympathy to the family.
