Jordan Allen Obituary
Jody was the daughter of the late John "Jack" Hamilton and Jean Russell Hamilton of Mystic. Jody is survived by her sisters, step-siblings, many cousins, nieces, nephews, her adored corgi Callum, and many lifelong friends who will deeply miss her exuberant spirit, courage and love.
She attended the The Williams School, Fitch High School, and Mitchell College, earned her R.N. license, and practiced nursing in Rhode Island, Florida, and Virginia for over 50 years.
Alongside her husband "Chip," she also cherished her years in Great Harbour Cay, Bahamas, where she was known as a formidable swimmer and sailor.
To honor Jody's memory and lifelong love of animals,
the family asks that donations be made to the Heritage Humane Society in
Williamsburg, Va. https://heritagehumane.org/ or 430 Waller Mill Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

I have so many fun memories of Jody when we were in Middle school. Stayed overnight a lot. One night we were sitting at the top of that long staircase when a house alarm accidently went off suddenly. It scared me so much that I jumped up and slid half way down the stairs on my butt in a panic. Jody laughed hard at me for at least a half hour. Then it was all of our middle school friends practicing their skiing skills on the bongo board in the den on weekends. Love that old round house. Unique like Jody. It's always sad when you lose childhood friends.They represent innocent pure times in your life that can never be replaced. Thank you, Jody for being irreplaceable.
