Gloria Constancio

Feb 8, 1932 - Jul 11, 2025

On Friday, July 11th, 2025, Gloria Constancio, loving wife and mother of three, grandmother of five, and great-grandmother of ten, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 while surrounded by her family.

Gloria was born in Grand Forks, Minnesota to Acencion and Francisca Acosta Cornejo who have preceded her in death. She has also now been reunited with her husband, Alejandro Constancio of 67 years; in-laws, Silvano and Elvira Constancio; brothers, Victor and John Cornejo; son, Alex Constancio, Jr.; granddaughter, Chloe Constancio and nephew, J.P. Cornejo in the Lords Kingdom.

Gloria was a dedicated co-worker at Alenco for over twenty years and after retirement enjoyed congregating over breakfast at her favorite restaurant Coco Loco, every Friday morning with her family and long-time friends. After which, she enjoyed afternoon shopping and evening walks.

She is survived by family members: brother, Philip Cornejo and his wife Francis from Cedar Park, TX; sons, George Constancio and wife Gina, Joe Constancio and wife Candace, and daughter-in-law, Linda Lopez Constancio, all from Bryan; four grandchildren, Amanda Constancio Alvarado and her husband Mario, Augustus and his wife Meghan, Jessica Constancio Guerrero and husband Joe, and Erica Constancio; ten great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Constancio-Serna, Alex Mya, Caroline Rose and Ruby Jo Guerrero, Ryder and Ryleigh Constancio, Nathan, Georgi and Samuel De Santiago, and Ava Hernandez; as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral in Bryan from 5:00 to 7:00 pm with a rosary to start at 7:00 pm on Thursday, July 17, 2025. A mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 507 E. 26th St. in Bryan, with a graveside service to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

The Constancio Family would like to say a special thank you to Virginia Constancio Lara, Carolina Castillo, Sally Diaz, Helene Krc and Millie Constancio, all of whom have been a blessing to the family.
