Thomas Kleschka Obituary

OTTO - Thomas Brian Kleschka, 87, born Oct. 23, 1937, went home to be with Jesus Saturday, June 28, 2025.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Gottfried Kleschka, and sister, Joyce Pasqualyn, of New York.
Tom enjoyed doing woodworking, making stained glass music boxes, designing various projects, building exotic wood tables and restoring his '66 Mustang and '65 Falcon Ranchero. He was a systems programmer for a two-year college in Orlando, Florida, for 12 years. Tom retired from the U.S. Navy Seabees after 20 years and also the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Juanita Kay Neuharth-Kleschka of Otto; sister-in-law, Patrica Mennenger of Franklin; brother, Richard (Arlene) LeJava of Centerville, Maine; stepdaughter, Berita (Paul) Cayer of Otto; grandsons, James Fox III of Otto and Dyland Fox of Norfolk, Virginia; son, Jay (Megan) Kleschka; and daughter, Joni (Mark) Trenda and their four children, all of Fountain Valley, California. He had a great love for his dog "Bungie" and cat "Rusty."
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue, PO Box 81, Franklin NC 28744.
