Fern Henslee
Age 70, passed away Sunday September 7, 2025 at The Pearl of Joliet.
Survived by her sister Karen (Johnnie) Pena; brother Ralph McDonald; nieces Sarah (Jesse) Davis and Melissa Lopez; nephew Jacob (Rocco) Pena; great nieces Alexis (Cole) Rodriguez, Jasmine Reyes and Jayden Reyes; one great great nephew Rowan Rodriguez. Special friends Lynn and Gary Martincic.
Preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Fern (Moore) McDonald; one brother Ron McDonald.
Born in Joliet, a lifelong area resident, living the past several years in Minooka.
Graduated from Joliet Central High School. Fern retired from the Illinois State Police.
Visitation will be held Thursday September 11, 2025 from 4-7 p.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Private interment at a later date.
