Mike Priddy Obituary

My Utmost and highest respect goes to Mr Priddy and his family. He was my Math teacher at Iowa Park High School Between 1978 to 1979. I came from City View and didn't know many people from Iowa Park, so those with warm personalities were most appreciated. Although he was all business, he was also kind and I knew his sincere desire was for me to learn and apply what he taught. He definitely left a positive imprint on my life and of all my high school teachers, he is one of the few that I've thought of most often throughout my life. My sincere sympathy to the family, this world will definitely miss him.

Mike Priddy- every time I saw he was registered for one of my workshops at Region 9, I knew I had to be on my toes!! Such a knowledgeable, quick witted, fun, and kind teacher who loved teaching math.

Mike was a great man and educator. I was blessed to work with for several years and it was amazing to see the impact he made on students. The only time I ever saw him frazzled was during Covid and he had to teach his classes online- he and the camera did not get along! I’m so happy I got to be part of his journey for a brief time.

Mike was a truly great guy and friend. He loved Texas and all his affiliations with folks citywide. He loved to talk about sports, music, Texas weather, lawn maintenance, tv westerns and barbecue. He had a great sense of humor and a genuine joy in living life to the fullest. We'll all miss him more than anyone can say.

As an educator I was blessed to attend workshops that Mike was also in attendance. He was wise and loved kids. He also graded UIL math events with me many times. I knew his kindness was of the Lord. He will be missed

Mike showed us how to trust God in life's hardest moments. He was a constant source of strength and encouragement to us. He led by example, demonstrating unwavering faith in the face of his own challenges and showed us what a life of faith truly means. Though we mourn his passing, we rejoice in knowing his soul rests in the eternal love of God.

Mike was such a good man. I will never forget the day that I was in his house and he didn’t know that I was having a tough day, and, he looked at me and said: Roana, Jesus loves you!
Jesus always sends angels to take care of me, and on that day, Mike was like one of them.
Thank you for everything!

Mike was a good friend, teacher, superintendent, and brother in Christ. I served on the school board at Byers ISD when he was the superintendent there. Mike always put the kids first no matter what. Praying for the family and I know someday I will meet you on the other side, Mr. Priddy.

Mike was a friend for many years. We taught together at Iowa Park and did administration work together at Byers. I was at Region 9. A terrible loss for everyone. Mike was a super good guy.

What a blessing it was to know Mike. He loved people and they loved him
.He especially loved his wife and children but most of all he loved his Lord and Saviour
There is no doubt in my mind that he will be in heaven. We are gonna miss you our dear brother in Christ.

Mike was a special person, kind and gentle. Loving life and sharing the good news of Christ. Will truly be missed by all who knew him.

Mike touched so many people in his lifetime. He was a humble man, never realizing what an influence he was to the people around him. He will be greatly missed. Prayers for the whole family.
