Robert Joseph Dvorak, age 86, of Raymore, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 19, 2025.
Robert was born in Joliet, Illinois on September 22, 1938 to Fred Dvorak and Adelaide (Downey) Dvorak. He graduated from Joliet Catholic High School class of 1956 and briefly continued his education before enlisting in the United States Army. While in the Army, Robert was assigned to the White House as a cryptographer working on counterintelligence. After serving in the Army, Robert worked at GAF Corporation and retired from Commonwealth Edison.
In the early summer of 1975, Robert was joined in marriage with his wife, Mary on May 9th in Joliet, Illinois. Robert was a man of Catholic faith, most currently a parishioner at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lee's Summit, Missouri. In life, Robert was an avid golfer and loved watching all sorts of sports.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Adelaide Dvorak.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty years Mary Dvorak; children, Kevin Dvorak (Anna), Cindy Price (Truman), David Kravish (Debbie), and Jeffrey Kravish; six grandchildren, Marissa Dvorak, Genevieve Dvorak, Brooke Jacobson, Ryne Jacobson (Madison), David Kravish (Ashton), and Aaron Kravish; and two great grandchildren, Declan and Elsie Rae Kravish.
Services were held on June 4th, 2025, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Lees Summit, MO. There will be a Committal service at St Joseph Cemetery, Joliet, IL, on July 12 at 10am.
