Monica Davison Obituary
Monica had a beautiful and generous heart, always loving deeply-especially when it came to her family. She shared a special bond with her beloved border collie, Mariso. She was compassionate and selfless, often giving without hesitation, even offering her last dollar to someone in need. Monica found joy in helping others, and her kindness touched many lives. She also had a deep appreciation for poetry, both reading and writing it, and loved spending time outdoors, surrounded by the peace and beauty of nature.
She is survived by her children, Maya of Kansas City, Riley of Lawrence and Sophia of Lawrence; mother, Deborah Bond of Topeka; father, Dave Davison of Lawrence; brother, Brian Davison and his wife, Jamie of Lawrence; sister, Katie Barnes of Kansas City; and numerous extended family and friends.
Memorial Services will be 3 pm, Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, 601 Indiana St., Lawrence, KS 66044.

Sending love and prayers---to all the family of Monica---I was so sad to see this today. Each of you have memories to cherish---my sincerest hope is that these will bring comfort to you at this sad time. May the Lord bless and keep you all-- David---I am thinking of you---Beth--I know you loved her as your own. Mercy is a gift from God---and life is eternal--I hope you are blessed by these.

Monica was a good person once you got to know her.shes going to greatly be missed by her 2 daughters and her son plus her dad and her dog.
I'm going to miss her cause of the good times that I got to share with her as neighbors.she was a sweet lady and would help you out if she could.
I just want to remember her as she was the last time I seen her alive.
She was so full of life and had a long life ahead of her but that was cut short.
Only God knows why he took her home so early.
She's going to be greatly missed.
