Olivia Sanchez Obituary

Pharr - Olivia Nemecio de Sanchez, 77, passed away Monday, July 14, 2025, at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alberto Sanchez Cabrera; Daughter in law, Maria Luisa Sanchez; her parents, Pomposo and Jacinta Nemecio; and five siblings, Esther Nemecio, Juana Nemecio, Julia Nemecio, Lucio Nemecio, and Gregorio Nemecio.

Olivia is survived by her four children, Patricia (Jose Luis) Sanchez Palomino, Luz Maria Rodriguez, Francisco Sanchez, and Mayra (John) Sanchez Garza; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Sheyla, Lalaine, Ivanna, Julissa, Andrea, Francisco, Camila; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., with a 10: 30 a.m. rosary Friday, July 18, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan. Funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025, at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan.
