Eloise Morrison Obituary
"Totsy" was a 1948 graduate of Clay County High School in Clay, West Virginia. "Ellie" was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 439, DAV Auxiliary, a life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and was an honorable Kentucky Colonel.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Jim" Morrison Jr.; daughter, Julie Morrison; parents, Ted and Hallie Burdette; and two sisters, Laura Gray and Jackie King.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Schaal of Tacoma, Washington; son, James Morrison of Oro Valley, Arizona; granddaughter, Kate Gallagher (Curt) of Denver, Colorado.; two sisters, Sharon Samples (Ron) of Culloden, West Virginia, and Linda Bird (Von) of Elkview, West Virginia; and two brothers, Wayne Burdette of Procious, West Virginia and Jerry Burdette (Jackie) of Charleston, West Virginia.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff with Chaplain Byron Simmons officiating. Burial follows in North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Saturday prior to the service.
