Hazel Edmonds Obituary
She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church and attended DeZarn Chapel Church. Hazel was a very devoted, loving, caring and selfless woman, the "Rock" of the family as described by her daughters, everyone could depend on her.
Hazel was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson "Jack" Edmonds; and her two brothers, Willie and Edward DeSpain.
Survivors include three daughters, Rosetta Edmonds of Mount Sherman, Rebecca (Cecil) Wooden of Elizabethtown and Melissa (Moe) Edmonds of Louisville; eight grandchildren, Bo Brown, Scotty (Sierra) Brown, Todd (Darla) Brown, Tonya Buchannon, Chuckie Sanders, Erick Sanders, Jessica (Tim) Gil and Jordain Edmonds; 17 great-grandchildren, Brent, Kiernan, Riley, Elizabeth, Lillie, Kevin, Aiden, Adrienne, Jolene, Silas, Emma, Bella, Izaiah, Ameila, Esmeralda, Alejandra and Gabe; a great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
The funeral is at 11 a.m. EDT Friday, July 18, at Dixon-Rogers Funeral Home in Magnolia with Brother Stewart Skaggs officiating. Hazel will be laid to rest alongside her husband on the Edmonds family farm.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday and continues at 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
