Helen T. Klucharich, 97 (just 6 days shy of her 98th birthday) of Coplay peacefully passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024. She was married 45 years to the late William A. Klucharich who passed away in 1998. Helen was the daughter of the late John and Katie (Schwab) Seier and a member of St. Peter’s Roman Catholic Church in Coplay.
A wonderful wife, mother, Nana and great-Nana, she was an amazing homemaker, seamstress, cook, and baker, specializing in many German cookies, cakes and most notably her pogatchels, which the entire extended family enjoyed immensely. Filling her days with reading, crossword puzzles and Scrabble games with her wonderful caregivers, she most enjoyed visits from her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen unselfishly devoted her life to taking care of her family, relatives and friends in good times and bad.
Helen was predeceased by 10 siblings and is survived by her four children, William (Joan) of Allentown, Mary Jane Smith (Tom) of West Hazleton, Catherine Eberstein (Kim) of Flemington, NJ and Anne Gruver of Coplay; along with 6 grandchildren, Erin Piff (Frank), Monica Sellitti (Andrew), Andrew Gruver (Megan), Stefanie Bohunicky (fiancé Tom), Mark Klucharich (Lauren) and Abby Ruch (Kyle) and 13 great-grandchildren that she cherished and who brought so much joy to her life.
The family would like to thank her caring and loving at-home care team who truly became her second family.
