JONESBORO - Carmen Coffman, 88, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, formerly of Jonesboro, Illinois, passed away Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Albuquerque.
She was born Jan. 14, 1937, in Anna, the daughter of Francis and Carrie (Wiley) Cross. She married Harlan Coffman on Nov. 16, 1957 in Corinth, Mississippi. He preceded her in death Feb. 4, 2019.
Carmen is survived by her son, Mark Coffman of Rio Rancho; daughter, Jennifer (Scott) Love of Amarillo, Texas; grandchildren, Calvin and Carmella Love; sister, Shirley Casper of Carbondale; lifelong friend, Irma Brown of Jonesboro; other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harlan Coffman; brother, Harold Cross; and sisters, Eva Lee Harman and Joyce Muldoon.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the Jonesboro Cemetery, with Perry Williams officiating. Interment will immediately follow. Visitation will take place from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the cemetery. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
