Delilah Belcher Obituary

Delilah Settles Belcher, age 89, of Mackville, KY passed away at 9:28 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2025, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.

A native of Washington County, she was born on October 5, 1935, to the late Roy Allen and Mayme A. Darland Settles.

She was a member of the Mackville Church of Christ and a homemaker.

Preceding her in death was her husband, Lee Belcher; a son, Ronald Marion Sallee; a grandson, Michael James Sallee; four sisters, Mildred Settles, Laverne Gordon, Nancy Gabhart and Janice Stine and six brothers, Roy Kenneth, Samuel Curtis, J.D., Murriel, Elbert and Larry Settles.

Survivors include two sons, Perry Sallee and James M. Sallee both of Mackville; three grandchildren, Tina Tarrence, Ronald Sallee, Jr. and James William Sallee; six great grandchildren and two brothers, Everett Settles (Marie) of Springfield and Joe Settles (Carol) of Mackville.

Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 15, at the Carey & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Frank Preston, officiating.

Burial was in the Parksville Cemetery.

Carey & Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
