Jennifer Leigh Quattrocchi

Ormond Beach, Florida - Jennifer Leigh Quattrocchi, 43, of Ormond Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, following a brave and private battle with cancer. She lived her life with kindness and passion, touching the hearts of everyone she met.
Born Jennifer Leigh George on March 8, 1982, in Columbia, South Carolina, she was the youngest child of Barry and Julie George. She was a loving sibling to her brother, Travis and sister, Paige.
She attended Timmerman School and later Cardinal Newman High School in Columbia, SC. Growing up she enjoyed tap dancing and playing tennis. She majored in computer science at Wake Forest University, where she was also the editor of the "Howler," the university yearbook. Jennifer went on to earn her masters degree in Mass Communications, Integrated Marketing Communications at the University of South Carolina.
Jennifer was a Spanish teacher at Timmerman School before beginning her career at The NASCAR Foundation in 2005. The Foundation was her life's work for nearly two decades. Jennifer's warmth, kind nature and willingness to help were well known across the sport.
She filled many roles within the organization, most recently overseeing programs and marketing with a passion and purpose that were truly unmatched. Her commitment to helping children in racing communities across the country was guided by compassion, integrity, and grace.
Among her many contributions, Jennifer had a special place in her heart for the Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award. She was the guiding force behind the scenes-reviewing nominations, crafting powerful stories of finalists, and shining a spotlight on people and organizations doing life-changing work. That award became her personal mission, and she elevated it every year.
She was also involved in the creation of The NASCAR Foundation Speediatrics Fun Day Festival, which promotes healthy lifestyles for children.
Jennifer was a member of Volusia County (FL) Women Who Care, was the secretary of the Halifax Health Foundation, and participated in Women in NASCAR. While Jennifer never worked for recognition, she was honored for the incredible impact she made in the community when she was named to the Daytona Beach News-Journal "40 Under Forty" list in 2018.
In 2009, at a NASCAR race in Texas, Jennifer's college roommate introduced her to the man who would become the love of her life, Joseph. They married in 2014 and enjoyed 11 wonderful and adventurous years of marriage together.
Jennifer had a passion for adventure instilled in her by her mother, with whom she loved taking trips to New Orleans, New York City or anywhere Harry Connick, Jr was playing. She also treasured her trips with her husband Joey to Walt Disney World, Hilton Head Island, and Hawaii.
Jennifer loved cheering for her beloved Demon Deacons and Gamecocks. Watching the Demon Deacon ride out on the motorcycle or hearing 2001 being played at Williams-Brice stadium brought her such joy. She loved all sports, especially NASCAR. Jennifer grew up a Dale Earnhardt Sr. fan, but her favorite drivers were Alex Bowman and Kyle Busch. She was an avid bowler and golfer.
Jennifer enjoyed going to the Masters with family and friends and seeing her favorite musicians Harry Connick Jr. and Darius Rucker in concert.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Julie; brother, Travis; grandparents, Zolton & Anna Ronyecz; and grandmother, Emily Degeneres.. She is survived by her devoted husband, Joseph; her father, Barry; her sister, Paige; as well as countless family, friends, and colleagues all who loved her dearly.
A visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 15, from 5 – 7 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, located at 3926 Devine St, Columbia, South Carolina. A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 16, at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, located at 501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, South Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests donations be made to The NASCAR Foundation in Jennifer's name.
