Donna Rae Atteberry Crawford, age 82, of Godfrey, died Monday, June 30, 2025 at Asbury Village in Godfrey.
She was born July 7, 1942, in Alton, the daughter of Joseph W. and L. Lorraine (Cox) Marshall.
Donna was employed as a legal secretary for over 36 years and was a member of Madison County Legal Secretaries Association, Illinois State Association of Legal Secretaries, National Association of Legal Secretaries, River Bend Legal Secretaries Association, Women of the Moose Wood River Chapter #263, and a member of Teamsters Local No. 525 since August of 1979 and served as shop steward since April of 1998. She was a member of LoveJoy United Presbyterian Church in Wood River. In her spare time, she enjoyed silk ribbon embroidery, playing cards, gardening, cooking, and crafts. Donna will be remembered for the multitude of love she always gave her family, the sacrifices she made for them, and the quality time she spent with her children.
Donna is survived and will be greatly missed by two daughters and one son, Susan Jane Marko Tucker and her husband, Arlie, Amy Jo Marko, and Michael James Marko Jr. and his wife, Amanda; five very special grandchildren, Zachary James Tucker, Bianca Lorraine Renken, Rebecca Dale Renken, Michael Scott Marko and Mia Sophia Marko; one great grandchild, Charlotte Mae Tucker and other extended family and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, July 21, 2025 with visitation beginning at 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey, IL.
A private interment ceremony will be held at Upper Alton Cemetery.
