Jamie Griggs Obituary

To her family and friends , know that I pray for your comfort and strength during this very sad time . I was blessed to know her as one of her work colleagues. Since we both have the name Jamie , we would tease one another about what an awesome name the other one had . I usually had to wait on a ride after work as we were both getting ready to clock out so we would have time to visit at that time . She was just precious and I always hoped she would be working that evening because I always enjoyed visiting with her. I enjoyed her stories of her family . Know that she spoke often of you all with love and pride and joy . She sure loved you and was awfully proud of her kiddos . There are some people who are just like sunshine in human form and that is how I would describe her .I have gone through a lot this last year or two and she was always there with a kind word and always was willing to do whatever she could on those particularly hard days that I may have been having . Some of our loved ones leave and of course we are saddened and some of our loved ones leave and it's like the sun won't even shine as bright . It seems like not even very long ago I saw her and she smiled that smile that would light up a room . Know that my heart breaks with your families heart at this time .

Jamie was so very special. She worked at Concordia Village for a number of years and that is where we connected. She and I made a special connection and she was so very helpful to me in some of the volunteer activities that I worked with at the village. I am so sorry to hear of her passing and know she will dearly be missed by many. She was every bit of the person that her obituary shared. Thank you for sharing Jamie with all of us. May God give all her family and friends peace.

Jamie was such a bright light and an amazing very soft spoken person that will be truly missed. My prayers are with the family and especially the legacy she leaves behind. The way you loved your daughters and your family, always trying to keep us together and in contact with one another, will truly be missed!

I am Jamie’s 2nd cousin Twyla Robinson of San Diego, Ca. I remember in 2022’ when she visited San Diego for a friend’s wedding. We all went to eat at Mimi’s Cafe with her uncle Tony from LA., Ca., and Aunt Vicky, cousin Brandy, and her daughter Cyrie. She made it a point to visit the family. She wanted Mimosas for brunch we ate and drank Mimosas. The both of us. We took pictures that was a fun occasion I’ll never forget it. She visited my mom’s house twice. She was in town for several days. Rest In God’s Loving Arms Jamie!!!

Jamie was one of a kind, full of life, laughter and love. We had a good rapport at Concordia Village. Love and prayers for all those who loved her.

I worked with Jamie for several years at IDOT. I found her to be a helpful and cheery co-worker, and enjoyed chatting with her when we were in the office together. I'm so sorry that I will not be able to see her smiling face and talk.

I am so saddened to hear about Jamie. She always put a smile on my face whenever I saw her. My daughter and Jamie were great friends from grade school thru high school. I will miss seeing her smiling face. RIP sweet girl.

Jaime is a good person that always went out of her way to help others without expecting anything in return. I often talked to her in the office and shared stories and laughs with her. She, for a long time, had done several things to help make my job easier and I always made sure to thank her for it, even though she didn't expect it. I’m praying for her family, friends and coworkers. Jamie is a one of a kind person who brightens up a room and who goes out of her way to make everyone around her feel important and cared about.

Our deepest Sympathy is with Brenda and The Griggs Family, Jamie will be truly missed. Love and Prayers are with The Girls,May GOD Comfort you during this time of Earthly Loss.
