Cora Elaine Sherrill Hulon, age 67 of Hope Mills was born December 8, 1957 in Miami, FL., to the late Charles F. Sherrill Sr. and Joan Phillips Sherrill and departed this life July 7, 2025 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.
In addition to her parents, Cora was preceded in death by a sister, Wanda S. Butler; a brother, Ernest Leighton Sherrill and several other extended family and friends.
Cora leaves to cherish her memories and mourn her passing, her daughter, Phoebe Hulon; three grandchildren, Tiffany Danielle Hulon (PJ), Destiny Craig Poindexter and Fisher JC Randall Poindexter; three great grandchildren, Tres Hewett, Roman Hewett and Treasure Renee Hewett; four brothers, Charles F. Sherrill, Jr., Colin Sherrill and wife, Dawn, Lauren Sherrill and wife, Sallie and Terrance Sherrill and wife Mary; one sister, Beth Sherrill Radtke Newsome and husband Joe; multiple nieces and nephews and a host of extended relatives and friends.
