Charles Nelson Obituary
son, age 62, of Foreacre
Street, Toccoa, Ga., passed
away Saturday, Feb. 8,
2025, at the Stephens
County Hospital.
A son of the late
Charles Emmett Nelson
and Alma Williams Nel-
son, he was born Jan. 27,
1963, in Augusta, Ga., hav-
ing lived most of his life in
Toccoa. He was a 1981
graduate of Stephens
County High School. He
was a veteran of the U.S.
Air Force. He loved to
watch sports, listen to mu-
sic, play his harmonica
and loved the Lord.
Survivors include his
sister and brother-in-law,
Camille and Mark
Marsteller of Toccoa;
brother and sister-in-law,
Brad and Valerie Nelson
of Stone Mountain;
nephews, Jamie Harris,
Charlie Harris and Scott
Harris; great-nephew,
Charlie Harris, Jr.; great-
niece, Catherine Harris.
The family will have a
private memorial service
at a later date. His wishes
were to be cremated.
