Wayne Anderson Obituary
Wayne V. Anderson, 59, of Bridgewater, ME, formerly of Exeter, RI, died at home on July 10, 2025. Born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, he was a son of Roberta K. (Houston) Anderson of Warwick and the late Robert V. Anderson.
Wayne was a self-employed lumberjack in the logging industry, worked at WBCQ Radio Station and Brad Street Arms Potato Farm. He served as President of the Bridgewater Historical Association and was a member of Bridgewater Free Baptist Church. Prior to moving to Maine, Wayne served as a volunteer Firefighter with Exeter Volunteer Fire Company No. 2.
He leaves his loving sons, Eric R. Anderson of Windsor, CT, Andrew L. Anderson of Coventry, RI, and Noah C. Anderson of Coventry, RI. He was the brother of Leif R. Anderson of Coventry and Neil O. Anderson of Medford, MA. Cherished nephew of Nancy Anderson of Newport and Godson of Ave Houston of Cranston, RI.
Calling Hours will be held Sunday, July 20, 2025 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service to follow in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown. Burial will be private.
