Doris Layne Obituary
Ms. Doris E. Layne, 75 of Olympia, Wash., (formerly of Goochland, Va.) went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. She was born to Arthur T. Layne, Sr. and Mildred S. Layne of Goochland, Va. She leaves behind three daughters; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and five siblings. Doris retired from Macy's after 33 years. She touched many people through her ways of showing love and kindness.
Her remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va., where a viewing will be held from 2 to 6 p.m., on Sunday, October 19, 2025 and where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, October 20, 2025.
