We were so sorry to learn oh Otis´ passing. I have known him since law school in Lexington. What a fine gentleman. We will miss him. Lexington and Rockbridge will certainly be less without him. Larry and Fran Framme.

The Whitakers share our grief and celebration of a wonderful man. Otis embraced our family in 1996 when we arrived in Rockbridge. Sold us the land for our house. And helped me find tower sites around the County and build the first digital mobile system in the region. God bless him and you all....

Family has lost a very dear loved one and the rest of us have lost a legend. I share July 12 as a birthday with Otis and we often exchanged best wishes. One year (1980 something) I sent him a picture of me sitting on the hood of his car, which had the front wheels in a terrible ditch that was covered with tall grass and unseen. This happened while he was showing property to my employer and me. Ever the gentleman he told us to stay put and he ran, walked, climbed his way back to the main road to get help. We shared a laugh over that picture for years to come. I won´t say rest in peace, Otis. I feel sure you will be negotiating with Saint Peter for the best spot.

My deepest condolences on the loss of a Lexington treasure. I always enjoyed seeing Otis' smiling face out and about town and listening to his amazing stories - it was a joy to be in his presence. He will truly be missed.
