Karen Florence Rascoe Robertson, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on March 27, 2025, at Alamance Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.
Karen's professional journey as a machine operator at a textile manufacturing company exemplified her hard work and commitment. Karen found great joy in her daily walks and treasured moments spent with her family, who were at the heart of her world. She attended Pilgrim Baptist Church until she was no longer able to.
Karen is survived by her husband of 54 years; Jack Robertson, a brother; Alvin Rascoe and his wife Debbie, sisters; Weeden Long, and Sandra Rich as well as numerous nieces and nephews that will cherish her memory.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William Arthur Rascoe and Marnie Florence Walker Rascoe, her sister; Iris Rascoe Holt, as well as her brothers-in-law; Harry Long and Tex Rich
The family profoundly appreciates the exceptional care provided by all the doctors and staff at the Alamance Regional Medical Center Cancer Center, extending special gratitude to Dr. Fennegan and Nurse Kendra for their compassion and support during Karen's cancer journey.
A graveside service will be held at Kerr's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Elon, North Carolina, on April 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM by Tom Mix, followed by a visitation with family in the Kerrs Chapel Baptist Church fellowship hall.
