Arthur Forgét Obituary
WATERVLIET - Arthur Paul Forgét Jr., 88, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Arthur was the son of the late Arthur P. Sr. and Mary Forgét.
Arthur proudly served with the United States Army and the United States Navy. He was a Life member of the VFW Post 3185, Delmar, N.Y.
He was an avid reader and photographer. Loved playing golf, enjoyed watching horse racing, was an avid Boston Red Sox fan, enjoyed baking, gardening and spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Patricia; and his brother, Billy.
Arthur is survived by his children, Marc (Michele) Zeyak, Lisette (Tom) Wilson, Nicole (Thomas) Schiller and Arthur P. III (Aiman) Forgét; his grandchildren, Marc Jr., Shane, Zach, Devon, Shealyn, Austin, Callum, Gracen and Fairuza. He is also survived by his sister, Lorraine Berryman, and brother, Leo Forgét; as well as 11 great-grandchildren, and many friends.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Rd., Watervliet, N.Y. 12189, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Arthur will received Military Honors at 3:00 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

We met on Miami Beach in Feb. 1960 married later that year and had 2 wonderful children Marc and Lisette. My heartfelt sympathy to Nicole, Artie, Lorraine and all surviving family members. Sorry I am not able to attend service.
