Virginia "Ginny" Sears, 94, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025. She was born March 31, 1931 to Holley and Zula Johnson in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
Virginia believed life should be fun and silly. Whether it was baking oatmeal cookies, playing dress up, Horse, flying kites with her grandkids, or rocking on the porch at the lake with Bill. She said what she thought, comforted friends, and told kooky stories.
Survivors include her children, Teresa (Terry) Sears-Webb, Rick (Teresa) Sears, Tam (Dianne) Sears; 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-greatgrandchildren.
Memorial service is 11:00 am Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Smith Family Mortuary, 1415 N Rock Road, Derby, KS 67037.
Memorial contributions may be made to Maria Court, 633 E Main St, Mulvane, KS 67110.
